Jamie was born under the floorboards of the machine room in 1999 and, ignoring all child-labour laws, was immediately put to work as a tape-operator. He quickly moved up to running the machine room, a position he held for two years. In 2002 he left the machine room for the first time since birth and moved to the avid department for a stint as a commercials’ avid assist. Swiftly progressing to editing in the broadcast department he cut his teeth on the sorely missed Blizzard of Odd and has gone on to prove himself an accomplished and adaptable editor. Now an old-timer, sorry, senior editor in the Piranha Bar family his work encompasses a wide and versatile range of documentaries, entertainment, factual and comedy programming. When he passes away we intend to lovingly return him to the floorboards in the machine room.
