Back in 1998, in a broom cupboard with no lightbulb, Iseult fell in love with a 16 mm Steinbeck edit desk- and here the story begins… After graduating from DIT Aungier Street in 1999 with a 1st class Honours Masters in Film, Iseult began her career in post production the good old fashioned way – making tea… After a short life-lesson in starting at the bottom, she quickly worked her way up through the ranks of the editing department in Windmill Lane Pictures. Within three years she was editing prime time television. In 2004, off the back of her work on You’re a Star, Iseult spent two months in Jamaica editing the biggest entertainment show in the Caribbean, Rising Stars, and in the same year she got the opportunity to work on RTE’s edit team for the Olympic Games. Since then Iseult has made a name for herself with some of the country’s best entertainment and documentary programmes. In January 2007 Iseult joined Piranha Bar as a senior editor. Here she has enjoyed success with a variety of high end long format documentaries and shorter doc series – such as FutureShock: Property Crash, Where Was Your Family During the Famine and the This Is Me series – as well as a wide range of lifestyle and entertainment programming. Iseult maintains a casual romance with commercials editing, and her commercial credits include campaigns such as VHI, The Financial Regulator, Tayto and Cervical Check.
