We wanted to update the ‘tough elements’ paint commercial genre that is familiar to most of us with this 30 second spot for Dulux featuring the new version of the Phantom high speed camera. After shooting on location (using four different houses no less) we shot the weather elements of wind (leaves) and rain, along with a soccer ball and the iconic Dulux Sheepdog at up to 2000 frames a second (that means that a single second could play for about one and a half minutes). It’s just a pity that the dog ran wide in some of the takes – it is completely blinded by it’s beautiful coat of fur.
